Scottish Legal Connect

Service terms

Draft development-preview information, dated 16 October 2026. Public-launch terms require operator and legal review. Use synthetic cases for evaluation.

What this service does

The platform helps structure an initial Scottish family-law intake, prepare a case pack and request contact with a panel solicitor. AI output is general information, can be incomplete or wrong, and must not be relied on as legal advice. Official source links do not mean every generated statement has been verified.

Solicitor referrals

You decide whether to approve and share a case pack. A referral does not guarantee availability, acceptance, legal aid, a particular result or a solicitor-client relationship. Agree the scope of work, confidentiality, fees and safe communication arrangements directly with the solicitor.

The local demonstration may contain clearly labelled synthetic solicitor accounts. They are not practising firms and must not be used to seek real legal help. No real payment is collected by the local preview.

Safety and availability

This is not an emergency or continuously monitored support service. High-risk signals switch AI guidance to a support-focused mode. Detection can make mistakes. Do not delay seeking urgent human help because of an automated response.

Before public launch

Final terms must identify the operator, explain service eligibility and complaints, and set out the applicable consumer and contractual arrangements. This draft does not claim regulatory authorisation or replace those decisions.
